New Teaching Series – April 19th – May 17th
Recently I read this statement that inspired me: “Preach hope when people need it most!” So, after Easter, we will begin a new teaching series on the Apostle’s Creed. What is the Apostle’s Creed, you say? It is the oldest and most familiar statement of the Christian faith that we have. The word “creed” comes from the Latin and it means “I believe.” By the end of the second century local church leaders began to write brief summaries of the faith to be used with candidates for baptism. These summaries were the earliest evidence for the emergence of creeds in the life of the Christian Church. These creeds were designed to define the faith, defend the faithful, and declare to the world what the church believed. We live in a time when Covid19 pandemic has challenged our way of life and the foundations of many things we hold dear. We’ve had weeks without being able to worship in public places, eat at our favorite restaurants, attend school, be with our extended families and friends, or play our favorite sports. I’m hoping that this series, which is rooted in Scripture, will give us some new ways to think about God by identifying the core beliefs of the Christian faith – all with the goal of uniting us as Christ-followers and giving us hope. – Pastor Rod

LIFE GROUP GUIDES – Life Group Guides are now available each week in the worship folder, along with a note-taking guide. Take the message from

St. Johns Campus Office is open Mondays and Thursdays from 9:30am-4:30pm, Wednesdays from 9:30am-3:30pm & Tuesdays from 1:30-5:00pm. The office is closed Tuesday mornings for staff meetings in DeWitt and all day on Fridays.
PIZZA WITH THE PASTOR – If you are newer to Redeemer we would love to have you join us at Pizza with the Pastor. This is a time for you and your family to meet with the Pastors, staff, and others who are new to Redeemer Church and join in a casual conversation. Reserve your spot today. There is no cost to attend. To sign up, email Wendy Elliott at email@example.com.
OFFERING ENVELOPES – Many members of our church family feel that having preprinted offering envelopes is a convenient way to give their weekly/monthly tithes and offerings. St. Johns Campus will be making the switch to the DeWitt Campus mailed envelopes for the coming year. Once a month these envelopes are sent out for the upcoming month and include the envelopes for each Sunday of the month and any special offering for the month. If you like the convenience of envelopes and would like to be added to this system please contact Marie in the St. Johns campus office at 224-6859, or email her at Redeemer.firstname.lastname@example.org so we can include you in the mailing for the first of the year. Please respond even if you had envelopes and used them this year, or you haven’t had them and would like to have envelopes. Note: The use of offering envelopes help us to know how you want your contributions to be used. We also offer Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) and Text-to-Give 517-731-0518.
