Below is the latest information on what is happening at Redeemer during COVID-19. Despite what is going on in our world during these unprecedented times, we are one church whether we are able to meet in person or virtually.
We encourage you to continue to connect with others by sending texts and emails, making phone calls and praying for each other. There is no one specific way to emotionally cope with everything that is happening, after all, none of us have experienced this before. Please know the staff misses you and is praying daily for our church and community.

Offering, connection card, and prayer request will be available through our mobile app – so be sure to download the app before service starts. If you are not able to download the mobile app – you can access prayer request, online giving, and the connection card through our website links.
The “dig deeper guide” related to the DeWitt Campus sermon will also be available to download through the website each week for individuals, families, and groups that would like expand farther into the message. We are still working out details for communion, so check back here for updates.
We’re glad for the chance to get back together even if it does mean adhering to a few restrictions as we do so. We will do our best to be as “normal” as possible while practicing some basic safeguards. We do encourage you to chat outside of the building with others before or after services, while practicing proper “social distancing.”
Mask wearing has become a divisive issue, but we hope that does not happen at Redeemer. We ask everyone to wear a mask while you are in the building. Mask wearing is to protect others. Philippians 2:4 reminds us to “…not look to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” None of these restrictions or inconveniences are desirable, but for now, they must be followed. We so appreciate your cooperation.
ONLINE WORSHIP SERVICES
If you would like to join us for online services – they will start at 9:30am – through the Facebook live and through our YouTube channel. You can also still find our podcast on our website, which is update on Monday. Links to online services can also be found through our free mobile app.
To keep everyone as protected as possible from COVID-19 while we’re in the same space, here are some general guidelines we all need to abide by:
Masks: Please have each member of your household wear a mask whenever you are in the building, at either campus, whether on Sunday morning or during the week.
Sanitizing: There will be lots of hand sanitizing stations available for you to use at each campus. Please make use of these conveniences. Our Custodial Staff will be wiping down all surfaces in the Worship Center and cleaning the bathrooms between services.
Physical Distance: Please keep at least 6 feet between households. The Lobby is now a hallway to get in and out of the building instead of a gathering place to chat. Please chat outside before and after the services. No handshakes, hugs, etc. (We’ll get there! Just not yet.)
Worship Center Seating: Seating will be in every other row at the DeWitt Campus, please keep at least three seats open between you and people not in your household. Seating at the St. John’s Campus is limited to the main floor. Chairs are grouped in sections of 3-4 per row; rows and aisles have been spaced to maintain social distancing between family units.
Coffee/Beverages: There will not be coffee/beverages served, but you’re welcome to bring your own with you! Please have lids on all containers.
Restrooms: Signage will guide you as to which restrooms are open, and which are closed. Please do your best to keep physically distanced.
Not Feeling Well? If you, or anyone in your household, has a fever, coughing, sneezing, generally don’t feel well, or are at high risk for COVID-19, please worship with us online! ( www.myredeemer.church)
We look forward to being with those who desire and are able to be present. We love and care for each of you whether you are worshiping online or in-person. You are a chosen son or daughter of God.

We believe in the power of God to hear our prayers and answer according to His plan. We pray that your faith will stand strong during these challenging times and remember these 3 truths:
· God is bigger than even the biggest obstacles.
· God sees things in life’s circumstances that we cannot see.
· God loves to use seemingly hopeless situations for His glory.
Prayer concerns are very important to us and can be submitted online, through the mobile app, by calling the main office 517-669-3430, or by email to email@example.com. We treat all prayer requests in a highly confidential manner and follow current HIPAA privacy rules.
Thank you for your generosity in the midst of this pandemic. God is providing for our financial needs as a congregation – and continues to do so – through the faithfulness of people like you.
