Redeemer COVID-19 Update
Below is the latest information on what is happening at Redeemer during COVID-19. Despite what is going on in our world during these unprecedented times, we are one church whether we are able to meet in person or virtually.
We encourage you to continue to connect with others by sending texts and emails, making phone calls and praying for each other. There is no one specific way to emotionally cope with everything that is happening, after all, none of us have experienced this before. Please know the staff misses you and is praying daily for our church and community.
CHURCH OFFICE HOURS
DeWitt Campus is open with Summer Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm, Mon-Thurs, Closed on Fridays for cleaning. The Food Pantry is open on Tuesdays from 10am – 2pm and 5:30 – 7pm.
St. Johns Campus office is open Tuesdays from 12:00-4:00.
BREAKING NEWS! Redeemer DeWitt Campus is planning to open on July 19!!! Our St. John’s Campus will wait until August 2. Our online services will continue as well. We’re glad for the chance to get back together even if it does mean adhering to a few restrictions as we do so. We will do our best to be as “normal” as possible while practicing some basic safeguards. We do encourage you to chat outside of the building with others before or after services, while practicing proper “social distancing.”
Mask wearing has become a divisive issue, but we hope that does not happen at Redeemer. We ask everyone to wear a mask as you enter and exit the building. While at your seat in the Worship Center, feel free to remove your mask. However, if you would like to sing, please put the mask on during the songs. Mask wearing is to protect others. Philippians 2:4 reminds us to “…not look to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” None of these restrictions or inconveniences are desirable, but for now, they must be followed. We so appreciate your cooperation. Please take a minute to read all of the guidelines below.
On Sunday, July 19, we will be opening the doors for in-person worship at our DeWitt Campus only. Service times are 8:15, 9:30 and 11:00am. Nursery will NOT be available. We anticipate that the St. Johns Campus will be opened on August 2, again with no Nursery. You can also still find our services on our website, through Facebook or on YouTube.
To keep everyone as protected as possible from COVID-19 while we’re in the same space, here are some general guidelines we all need to abide by:
Masks: Please have each member of your household wear a mask to church. Masks are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED anytime you enter the building on Sunday morning, during the week, and while singing. Masks can be taken off while at your seat in the Worship Center, but please wear one when exiting. Please cover your mouth/nose when coughing or sneezing.
Sanitizing: There will be lots of hand sanitizing stations available for you to use at each campus. Please make use of these conveniences. Our Custodial Staff will be wiping down all surfaces between services.
Physical Distance: Please keep at least 6 feet between households. The Lobby is now a hallway to get in and out of the building instead of a gathering place to chat. Please chat outside before and after the services. No handshakes, hugs, etc. (We’ll get there! Just not yet.)
Worship Center Seating: Seating will be in every other row. Please keep at least three seats open between you and people not in your household.
Coffee/Beverages: There will not be coffee/beverages served, but you’re welcome to bring your own with you! Please have lids on all containers.
Restrooms: Signage will guide you as to which restrooms are open, and which are closed. Please do your best to keep physically distanced.
Not Feeling Well? If you, or anyone in your household, has a fever, coughing, sneezing, generally don’t feel well, or are at high risk for COVID-19, please worship with us online! ( www.myredeemer.church)
We look forward to being with those who desire and are able to be present. We love and care for each of you whether you are worshiping online or in-person. You are a chosen son or daughter of God.

We believe in the power of God to hear our prayers and answer according to His plan. We pray that your faith will stand strong during these challenging times and remember these 3 truths:
· God is bigger than even the biggest obstacles.
· God sees things in life’s circumstances that we cannot see.
· God loves to use seemingly hopeless situations for His glory.

Thank you for your generosity in the midst of this pandemic. God is providing for our financial needs as a congregation – and continues to do so – through the faithfulness of people like you.
