Life Groups are groups of 3-5 individuals or couples that meet around coffee shop tables, living rooms, even on park benches at any time of day. Smaller is simpler, and simpler allows for deeper, deeper fellowship, deeper connection, deeper growth.
Develop authentic relationship is a vital part of Life Group community. Based on the Acts 2:42 model, Life Groups incorporate fellowship as a fundamental component in building authentic relationship driving the spiritual growth process.
Utilizing the message and teaching in worship, the Bible is the only book needed in a Life Groups. Today’s culture is filled with Bible owners. At Redeemer Church, we seek to be not only readers of the Word, but doers as well.
It is at the intersection of real life, and the Biblical narrative, that life transformation takes place. It is the moment when the study guide is put down, and the real trials and tribulations of life are addressed from the perspective of God’s Word in the community of faith, where the Holy Spirit is actively able to engage in our lives. These are the moments that Life Groups are designed to bring about.
Life Groups are not your traditional small group study. Life Groups are not Bible Studies. While these have their value, Life Groups seek to create the environment where real life events and day to day faith experiences connect in Christian community.
