Holy Week is the last week of Lent, the week preceding Easter Sunday. It is observed in many Christian churches as a time to commemorate and enact the suffering and death of Jesus through various observances and worship services.
We often focus on the joyful celebrations of Palm Sunday & the hope of the Resurrection on Easter. It is important to remember that suffering, humiliation, and death are also a part of Holy Week. Only by walking through the darkness of Good Friday and the despair on Holy Saturday, can we truly understand and appreciate the light & hope of Easter Sunday morning.
Join us at the DeWitt Campus on Friday, April 2nd for Good Friday Service at 7:00pm.
