At Redeemer Church, we follow a biblical philosophy of giving that encourages the spiritual development of God’s people. A purpose much bigger than any one of us, and one that we are called to follow.
It is our hope that as you grow in your faith as a follower of Jesus Christ, you will want to give unselfishly as an act of discipleship.
Ways to Give
Cash
If you are giving cash and would like a receipt for tax purposes at the end of the year, please use a Redeemer UMC envelope (available at the Information Center or in the pews) or any envelope where you can clearly print your name, and address.
Check
When writing a check, it is not necessary to use an offering envelope. We record your gift using the information that is already on our database or the name and address on the check.
Automatic Contribution
This is a popular method of giving at Redeemer and many people enjoy knowing they are giving faithfully without having to remember their checkbook each weekend. Redeemer can debit your checking or savings account weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly for the amount you designate. You can give automatically to the Ministry, Capital, and Mission Funds. Enrollment Forms are available at the Information Center, you can download the form here, or sign up electronically.
Bill Pay
Many members of our church family set up Redeemer Church in their bill payment accounts through their local banking institution. This allows you to be in complete control of how often money is mailed to Redeemer, on what day and in what amount. You can set this up online, through your banking institution’s website or call them for more information.

Planned Giving
Planned Giving is simply planning to make a difference both for yourself and Redeemer through a planned charitable gift. Planned giving is often described as “Leaving a Legacy” because so many are created to make an impact for future generations. It is surprisingly easy to arrange a planned gift. Though more sophisticated gifts will require more care, many methods are quite straightforward. Whatever the method, you can plan your gift to maximize your objectives.

• Match your wish to leave a legacy
Legacy Society
The Redeemer Legacy Society was created to honor those who have remembered Redeemer UMC in a very special way through their will, a trust fund, a charitable gift annuity or another type of deferred gift. Those honored as members of the society are truly leaders, and their generosity and thoughtfulness will serve as a legacy for their family and friends for generations to come.
Why put Redeemer in your will? For the Christian, it is necessary that our lifestyle be lived in such a way that our beliefs and values are reflected in the lives of the individuals whom they touch. And, at death, our lifestyle will continue to live on in those individuals. This is God’s plan at work.
Endowment Fund
Redeemer’s Endowment Fund is a combined pool of financial assets that allows the principal amount that is gifted to remain untouched while the income from the investment is made available for distribution for activities consistent with our mission. These gifts allow us to accomplish much more than would be possible through annual stewardship funding.
How has the Endowment Fund been used thus far? The Endowment Fund has been used for the upgrade of the Computer Lab in Kingdom Quest, underwrite Consecration Brunch, to supply the worship bags that our children use every Sunday, support of our overseas missionaires, and provide scholarship money to students attending Chrisitan colleges.

These are sent out bi-monthly to ensure we have recorded your gifts accurately and your gifts are where you intend them to be.
Offering Envelopes
Envelopes are mailed out monthly. These envelopes allow you to designate how your gift is allocated and allows us to easily record your gift. If you are not currently receiving these envelopes and would like to, please contact Keith Lamb.
