Christmas is about something that happened that never happened before … something supernatural, something totally of the ordinary, something humanly unexplainable. We believe God invaded our world in the form of a tiny baby boy.
In Matthew 11:1-3, we read: When Jesus had finished giving these instructions to his twelve disciples, He went out to teach and preach in towns throughout the region. John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. So he sent his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?”
Was Jesus just another baby … or was He God in human flesh? It matters how we answer that question … because for over 2,000 years Christ-followers have not only believed it but stake their lives on it.
